Many of us are worried about the changes under the 2025 Trump administration. The goal of this site is to help us keep our mental health while also helping to minimize the damage the Trump administration imposes on our country.
We certainly hope that the United States isn’t heading down the path that Germany took before WWII1, however there certainly are signs that we may be. Burying our heads in the sand won’t stop this trend, but our best efforts may also not prevent it: We need to be ready for wherever our country takes us.
There are those who would ask us to just ‘wait it out;’ that we’ll get through this. And there are others who believe that protest is the only way to stop the destruction of our country. The truth is probably somewhere in between.
To reiterate: The goal of this site is not to encourage us to bury our heads in our work and personal lives, “paying no attention to the man behind the curtain2.” Rather, our goal is to help build community to survive Trump v2.0, stopping what we can, but also building resilience in our individuals and communities to survive what will likely be an extremely difficult four years.
